Microsoft Word

Course Title: Word Level Inovice Outline
Description: Learn to create and edit documents, save and retrieve documents, select text, format characters and paragraphs, using keyboard shortcuts, understanding fonts, using the Editor to check spelling and grammar, using AutoText, set tabs and margins, add page numbering, and print documents.
Audience: Designed for individuals with limited word processing experience.
Prerequisite: Windows Level I.

Course Title: Word Level IItypical Outline
Description: Create better documents in less time. Learn how to work with headers and footers, build and format tables, and insert graphics from various sources. Students learn to create templates, set up a mail merge and use formatting shortcuts.
Audience: Designed for individuals with some experience with Microsoft Word.
Prerequisite: Microsoft Word Level I.

Course Title: Word Level III typical Outline
Description: Explore the long document, form creation, and desktop publishing features of Microsoft Word. Topics include: creating and using styles, outlining, creating a table of contents, understanding page breaks & section breaks, using Word’s Master Document feature, using Advanced Find & Replace, adding Cover Pages, using Footnotes & Endnotes, and tracking document changes, page layout concepts, using WordArt, columns, text boxes,
inserting pictures, formatting pictures, and word wrap, creating forms, using advanced Mail Merge techniques, protecting documents, and more.
Audience: Designed for individuals with experience with Microsoft Word.
Prerequisite: Microsoft Word II

Course Title: Word Level IV - Word Macrosadvanced Contact NWCLC
Description: Students will learn to further automate Microsoft Word using Macros.
Audience: Designed for advanced users of Word.
Prerequisite: Microsoft Word Level III.

Corel WordPerfect

Course Title: WordPerfect Introduction novice Contact NWCLC
Description: Students will learn to create, edit, and print documents. Topics include: selecting text, using the ruler, copy/paste, using auto spell, creating and using QuickWords and QuickCorrect, creating tables, and applying character and paragraph formatting.
Audience: Designed for new users of WordPerfect.
Prerequisite: Windows Introduction.
